As of December 2021, to travel to Ecuador, all passengers must be over 16 years of age, show a valid vaccination card with at least 14 days of validity after completing the vaccine AND a negative result of an RTX-PCR test performed up to 72 hours prior.
Children between 2 and 15 years 11 months 29 days old will also need this certification. Furthermore, as of 2021 all passengers that enter Ecuador by international air must have a digital “Traveler’s Health Declaration”.

- Entry is prohibited to persons whose points of origin or transit are: South Africa, Botswana, Egypt, Mozambique, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Esuatini (Swaziland) and Namibia.
