About us
We met in 2008 while in South Korea while Zahn was teaching English as a second language and Addison was stationed at Osan Airbase with the US Airforce. After (ALOT) if toing-and-froing in 2014 Addison moved to Auckland, New Zealand – Zahn’s hometown.
We’ve traveled a bit since then, every year saving and taking a three to four-week trips overseas but it wasn’t enough so we decided to flip the script, and instead of working all year to travel we are going to work while we travel, all year.
Before making the decision to be location independent we were a normal couple with comfortable full-time jobs, a stable routine and a house full of stuff but we’ve chucked it all in, sold everything we own and now have nothing more than a carry-on backpack, our laptops and no idea where this adventure will take us – follow us to see how far we can get.
After two years on the road…
Now we have been on the road for two years! Over that time we’ve managed to take what started as a side hustle and turn it into a full-time job and with e-commerce exploding worldwide, and we are now growing our team of designers and developers located all over the world.
The Indie Collab team, helps e-commerce store owners thrive online by taking their business or product and creating a map that’s unique to them, driving customers where they need to go.
Too often people don’t do the things they want because they are scared of judgement, they worry that their friends or family won’t understand or fear their own failure.
By sharing our journey we hope to encourage you to redefine your idea of success.
